Draught-proofing for Brixton properties
Brixton is among the towns we cover in Greater London, alongside Peckham, Pimlico and Battersea. It is roughly 3 miles south of London.
We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Brixton homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry. Where a Brixton home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Brixton, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
