Terms and conditions
Who you contract with
Cavity Wall Insulation UK is a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. When you accept a quote, your contract is with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd.
Surveys are carried out by a surveyor we appoint, who is named when we book your visit. Installation is carried out by the installer named on your quote. In these terms, a "registered installer" means an installer registered with the competent person scheme and, where one applies, the guarantee scheme named on your quote.
Surveys and quotes
- Prices on this website are guide ranges only. Your price is fixed in writing after the survey, before any work starts.
- The survey is free when it is for an install quote. A standalone survey or report is priced before you book.
- A quote states the work, the system to be used, the installer, the guarantee to be issued and by whom, the building regulations route, the price and the payment terms. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated.
- If the survey finds a wall unsuitable, we will say so in writing and will not install.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer and the contract is made away from our premises or at a distance (for example at your home, by phone or online), you can cancel it without giving a reason under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day the contract is made.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the period ends, by email to sales@cavitywallinsulationuk.co.uk or by post to the registered office above. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. If you cancel, we refund any payment within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method.
We will only start work during the cancellation period if you expressly ask us to, in writing. If you do, and then cancel, you pay a proportionate amount for work done up to the time you told us. If the work is fully completed at your express request within the cancellation period, and you have acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel once it is complete, the right to cancel ends then.
