Draught-proofing for Streatham properties
Our Greater London coverage takes in Streatham (SW16) and nearby Mitcham, Brixton and Wimbledon. It is around 6 miles south of London.
We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Streatham homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry. Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Streatham homes of every age.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Streatham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
