Cavity cleaning and debris removal for Witney properties
Witney sits in Oxfordshire, about 10 miles west of Oxford. We work across the OX28 district, including nearby Oxford, Abingdon and Didcot.
Damp in an insulated Witney home is not always the insulation's fault, so the diagnosis comes before any extraction. Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Witney properties, so you can choose who fixes them.
Local weather affects which walls can be filled. Much of Oxfordshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Witney, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
