Cavity cleaning and debris removal for Banbury properties
We cover Banbury and the OX16 postcode district, including nearby Bicester, Witney and Oxford. It is about 22 miles north of Oxford.
Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Banbury properties, so you can choose who fixes them. We never cold-call in Banbury or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Much of Oxfordshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Banbury, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
