Borescope cavity inspection for Scarborough properties
Scarborough sits in North Yorkshire, about 35 miles north-east of York. We work across the YO12 district, including nearby Redcar, York and Middlesbrough.
Every inspection point in Scarborough is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor. A survey in Scarborough gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. North Yorkshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Scarborough, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

How many holes?
Enough to be representative: typically several per elevation, plus targeted checks below windows, at corners and near any damp patches. Each one is photographed and logged.
