Damp investigation after cavity insulation for Scarborough properties
Scarborough sits in North Yorkshire, roughly 35 miles north-east of York. We work across the YO12 district, including nearby Redcar, York and Middlesbrough.
If your Scarborough installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work. We never cold-call in Scarborough or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. North Yorkshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Scarborough, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
