Wall tie replacement for Wigston Magna properties
Wigston Magna sits in Leicestershire, roughly 4 miles south-east of Leicester. We work across the LE18 district, including nearby Oadby, Leicester and Hinckley.
Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Wigston Magna properties, so you can choose who fixes them. If your Wigston Magna installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Leicestershire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Wigston Magna, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Signs of wall tie failure
Horizontal cracks in mortar joints at regular vertical intervals, bulging brickwork, or lifting of the roof verge. Older galvanised ties, especially in walls built before the 1980s, are the usual suspects.
