Wall tie replacement for Hoddesdon properties
Our Hertfordshire coverage takes in Hoddesdon (EN11) and nearby Hertford, Cheshunt and Potters Bar. It is around 14 miles east of St Albans.
We never cold-call in Hoddesdon or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. If your Hoddesdon installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Much of Hertfordshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Hoddesdon, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Signs of wall tie failure
Horizontal cracks in mortar joints at regular vertical intervals, bulging brickwork, or lifting of the roof verge. Older galvanised ties, especially in walls built before the 1980s, are the usual suspects.
