Underfloor insulation for Loughborough properties
We cover Loughborough and the LE12 postcode district, including nearby Coalville, Leicester and Oadby. It is roughly 9 miles north of Leicester.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Loughborough homes of every age. Where a Loughborough home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Loughborough, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Keeping the void ventilated
Air bricks under a suspended floor must stay clear so the timbers stay dry. Insulation goes between the joists, not across the void, and gaps at skirtings are sealed to stop draughts.
