Underfloor insulation for Chelsea properties
If your property is in Chelsea or the SW3 district or nearby Battersea, Fulham and Pimlico, it is within our Greater London coverage. It is around 2 miles south-west of London.
Where a Chelsea home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Chelsea homes of every age.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Chelsea, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Keeping the void ventilated
Air bricks under a suspended floor must stay clear so the timbers stay dry. Insulation goes between the joists, not across the void, and gaps at skirtings are sealed to stop draughts.
What is included in Chelsea
- Floor void inspection
- Insulation between joists
- Boards relaid
- Draught sealing at skirtings
