Underfloor insulation for Milton Keynes properties
Our Buckinghamshire coverage takes in Milton Keynes (MK9) and nearby Bletchley, Aylesbury and Chesham. Milton Keynes is one of the main towns we cover in Buckinghamshire.
Where a Milton Keynes home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Milton Keynes homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Milton Keynes, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Keeping the void ventilated
Air bricks under a suspended floor must stay clear so the timbers stay dry. Insulation goes between the joists, not across the void, and gaps at skirtings are sealed to stop draughts.
What is included in Milton Keynes
