Thermal imaging survey for Dartford properties
Dartford sits in Kent, about 18 miles north-west of Maidstone. We work across the DA1 district, including nearby Swanley, Gravesend and Strood.
The written result for your Dartford property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next. Every inspection point in Dartford is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Much of Kent sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Dartford, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Rules in England
Filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification if insulation work follows.

What thermal images can and cannot show
They show patterns, not proof. A cooler stripe inside might be missing fill, a cold bridge at a lintel or simply a radiator switched off. That is why we pair the images with borescope checks before recommending any work.
What is included in Dartford
- Borescope checks of suspect areas
- Interior and exterior images
- Recommendations, if any
