Loft insulation for Ashington properties
Our Northumberland coverage takes in Ashington (NE63) and nearby Blyth, Morpeth and Cramlington. It is around 4 miles north-west of Blyth.
We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Ashington homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry. In Ashington homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Ashington, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Existing depth and condition, ventilation at the eaves, water tanks and pipes that need insulating, downlighters that need covers, and storage boarding that needs raising so insulation is not crushed.
