Loft insulation for Tonypandy properties
Our Mid Glamorgan coverage takes in Tonypandy (CF40) and nearby Rhondda, Pontypridd and Aberdare. It is around 9 miles north-east of Bridgend.
Where a Tonypandy home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. In Tonypandy homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Tonypandy, filling a cavity is notifiable work under the Building Regulations as they apply in Wales, usually self-certified through a competent person scheme.
Funding in Wales
In Wales, Warm Homes Nest offers free improvements to eligible low-income households, and ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026.

What we check
