Loft insulation for Pontypridd properties
Pontypridd sits in Mid Glamorgan, around 12 miles north-east of Bridgend. We work across the CF37 district, including nearby Tonypandy, Rhondda and Aberdare.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Pontypridd homes of every age. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Pontypridd homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Pontypridd, filling a cavity is notifiable work under the Building Regulations as they apply in Wales, usually self-certified through a competent person scheme.
Funding in Wales
In Wales, Warm Homes Nest offers free improvements to eligible low-income households, and ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026.
Sources: Welsh Government: warmer and more energy efficient homes (July 2026); GOV.UK: extending the ECO4 end date, government response.
What we check
Existing depth and condition, ventilation at the eaves, water tanks and pipes that need insulating, downlighters that need covers, and storage boarding that needs raising so insulation is not crushed.
