Cavity wall insulation for flats for Leeds properties
Our West Yorkshire coverage takes in Leeds (LS1) and nearby Morley, Pudsey and Lofthouse. Leeds is one of the main towns we cover in West Yorkshire.
Work on Leeds rented homes and blocks is booked around tenants and residents, with access arranged through your agent if you prefer. Blocks of flats in Leeds are surveyed as a whole, because the cavity runs across every flat in the building.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. West Yorkshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
In terms of approvals, in Leeds filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Fire and height
For blocks, the material must suit the building's height and use. Non-combustible mineral wool is the usual choice; we confirm the system and its certificate limits in writing.
