Cavity wall insulation for flats for East Grinstead properties
We cover East Grinstead and the RH19 postcode district, including nearby Crawley, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. It is roughly 7 miles east of Crawley.
For landlords and managing agents in East Grinstead, we survey in batches and return a result sheet and fixed price per address. Blocks of flats in East Grinstead are surveyed as a whole, because the cavity runs across every flat in the building.
Wind-driven rain is the first thing the surveyor weighs up. West Sussex has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
As for paperwork, in East Grinstead filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Fire and height
For blocks, the material must suit the building's height and use. Non-combustible mineral wool is the usual choice; we confirm the system and its certificate limits in writing.
