Existing insulation and guarantee check for Feltham properties
Feltham sits in Greater London, around 13 miles west of London. We work across the TW14 district, including nearby Hanworth, Hounslow and Hampton.
Every inspection point in Feltham is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor. Buyers and sellers in Feltham often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls.
Wind-driven rain is the first thing the surveyor weighs up. Much of Greater London sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Feltham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Tracing a guarantee
Many cavity fills carry a 25-year guarantee from the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA). CIGA can confirm whether a property is covered and can issue a duplicate guarantee for a fee; at the time of writing that fee is £60 including VAT, and proof of ownership is required.
