Draught-proofing for Pontefract properties
Pontefract sits in West Yorkshire, about 12 miles south-east of Leeds. We work across the WF8 district, including nearby Castleford, Wakefield and Lofthouse.
Where a Pontefract home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Pontefract homes of every age.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Pontefract, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
