Draught-proofing for East Grinstead properties
East Grinstead is among the towns we cover in West Sussex, alongside Crawley, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. It is roughly 7 miles east of Crawley.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit East Grinstead homes of every age. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in East Grinstead homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in East Grinstead, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
