Draught-proofing for Newcastle under Lyme properties
We cover Newcastle under Lyme and the ST5 postcode district, including nearby Stoke-on-Trent, Longton and Kidsgrove. It is about 2 miles west of Stoke-on-Trent.
Where a Newcastle under Lyme home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Newcastle under Lyme homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Newcastle under Lyme, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
