Draught-proofing for West Bridgford properties
West Bridgford is among the towns we cover in Nottinghamshire, alongside Nottingham, Arnold and Hucknall. It is around 2 miles south-east of Nottingham.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit West Bridgford homes of every age. Where a West Bridgford home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in West Bridgford, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
