Draught-proofing for Ilkeston properties
If your property is in Ilkeston or the DE7 district or nearby Heanor, Long Eaton and Ripley, it is within our Derbyshire coverage. It is roughly 7 miles north-east of Derby.
We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Ilkeston homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry. In Ilkeston homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Ilkeston, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
