Draught-proofing for Failsworth properties
If your property is in Failsworth or the M35 district or nearby Droylsden, Ashton-under-Lyne and Oldham, it is within our Greater Manchester coverage. It is about 3 miles north-east of Manchester.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Failsworth homes of every age. Where a Failsworth home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Failsworth, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
