Commercial cavity wall insulation for Peebles properties
Peebles is among the towns we cover in the Scottish Borders, alongside Galashiels and Hawick. It is roughly 15 miles west of Galashiels.
Work on Peebles rented homes and blocks is booked around tenants and residents, with access arranged through your agent if you prefer. Per-address photo records for Peebles properties make compliance files and EPC updates straightforward.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. The Scottish Borders has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
In terms of approvals, in Peebles no building warrant is needed for insulation within a wall, but the work must meet the building standards.

What is different on commercial jobs
Access is planned around opening hours, often with towers or MEWPs. Material choice takes account of building use and fire requirements, so non-combustible mineral wool is often specified. Work is usually standard-rated for VAT unless the building qualifies for a relief, which we confirm on the quote.
