Remove and refill for Wellington properties
Wellington sits in Shropshire, around 10 miles east of Shrewsbury. We work across the TF1 district, including nearby Telford and Shrewsbury.
If your Wellington installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work. Damp in an insulated Wellington home is not always the insulation's fault, so the diagnosis comes before any extraction.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Shropshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Wellington, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why refill at all?
Often the original problem was the wrong material for the exposure, poor installation or defects in the outer wall, not cavity insulation as such. Once the defects are fixed and the cavity is clean, a suitable certified system can usually go back in. Where the wall is too exposed for any fill, we say so and leave it empty.
What is included in Wellington
