Remove and refill for Strood properties
Strood sits in Kent, roughly 9 miles north of Maidstone. We work across the ME2 district, including nearby Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham.
We never cold-call in Strood or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Strood properties, so you can choose who fixes them.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Much of Kent sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Strood, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why refill at all?
Often the original problem was the wrong material for the exposure, poor installation or defects in the outer wall, not cavity insulation as such. Once the defects are fixed and the cavity is clean, a suitable certified system can usually go back in. Where the wall is too exposed for any fill, we say so and leave it empty.
What is included in Strood
