Remove and refill for Kilburn properties
Our Greater London coverage takes in Kilburn (NW6) and nearby Cricklewood, Chalk Farm and Camden Town. It is roughly 4 miles north-west of London.
We never cold-call in Kilburn or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Kilburn properties, so you can choose who fixes them.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Much of Greater London sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Kilburn, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why refill at all?
Often the original problem was the wrong material for the exposure, poor installation or defects in the outer wall, not cavity insulation as such. Once the defects are fixed and the cavity is clean, a suitable certified system can usually go back in. Where the wall is too exposed for any fill, we say so and leave it empty.
