Cavity cleaning and debris removal across Shropshire
We cover 3 towns in Shropshire: Telford, Shrewsbury and Wellington.
Local weather affects which walls can be filled. Shropshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
We never cold-call in Shropshire or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Shropshire properties, so you can choose who fixes them.
Building Regulations in England
Filling an existing cavity wall is notifiable building work in England. Either a building notice goes to building control before the work, or the installer self-certifies it through a government-approved competent person scheme such as CIGA's CWISC scheme. The insulation used must also be suitable for the wall it goes into, which is why the survey checks construction, condition and exposure first.

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
