Cavity cleaning and debris removal for Oakham properties
Our Rutland coverage takes in Oakham (LE15) and nearby Uppingham. Oakham is one of the main towns we cover in Rutland.
Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Oakham properties, so you can choose who fixes them. If your Oakham installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Rutland sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Oakham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
