Cavity cleaning and debris removal for Whitefield properties
Whitefield sits in Greater Manchester, around 6 miles north-west of Manchester. We work across the M45 district, including nearby Radcliffe, Prestwich and Bury.
If your Whitefield installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work. We never cold-call in Whitefield or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Greater Manchester has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Whitefield, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
