Cavity cleaning and debris removal for Cirencester properties
Cirencester is among the towns we cover in Gloucestershire, alongside Stroud, Cheltenham and Gloucester. It is around 16 miles south-east of Gloucester.
We never cold-call in Cirencester or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. Damp in an insulated Cirencester home is not always the insulation's fault, so the diagnosis comes before any extraction.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Gloucestershire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Cirencester, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
