Cavity cleaning and debris removal for Ely properties
Ely sits in Cambridgeshire, about 15 miles north-east of Cambridge. We work across the CB6 district, including nearby Newmarket, March and Cambridge.
Where an Ely wall does need work, bricks are lifted and rebuilt in matching mortar, and the cavity is checked with a camera before it is closed up. We never cold-call in Ely or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Much of Cambridgeshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Ely, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Rules in England

Why debris matters
A clean cavity lets water that gets through the outer leaf drain away. Debris piled at the base or caught on ties makes a bridge for that water. It is a common cause of damp low on walls and around ties, with or without insulation.
