Borescope cavity inspection for West Bridgford properties
West Bridgford is among the towns we cover in Nottinghamshire, alongside Nottingham, Arnold and Hucknall. It is about 2 miles south-east of Nottingham.
A survey in West Bridgford gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound. Every inspection point in West Bridgford is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor.
Local weather affects which walls can be filled. Much of Nottinghamshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in West Bridgford, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

When a borescope check helps
Before filling, to confirm the cavity is empty and clean. Before buying a house, to see if the EPC's claim of 'filled cavity' is true. When damp has appeared and you need to know whether the fill is wet or bridged. Before a top-up, to map which panels are empty.
