Wall tie replacement for Cheltenham properties
Cheltenham sits in Gloucestershire, about 7 miles east of Gloucester. We work across the GL50 district, including nearby Tewkesbury, Gloucester and Stroud.
If your Cheltenham installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work. We never cold-call in Cheltenham or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Gloucestershire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Cheltenham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Signs of wall tie failure
Horizontal cracks in mortar joints at regular vertical intervals, bulging brickwork, or lifting of the roof verge. Older galvanised ties, especially in walls built before the 1980s, are the usual suspects.
