Wall tie replacement for Milton Keynes properties
We cover Milton Keynes and the MK9 postcode district, including nearby Bletchley, Aylesbury and Chesham. Milton Keynes is one of the main towns we cover in Buckinghamshire.
Damp in an insulated Milton Keynes home is not always the insulation's fault, so the diagnosis comes before any extraction. If your Milton Keynes installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Wind-driven rain is the first thing the surveyor weighs up. Much of Buckinghamshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Milton Keynes, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Signs of wall tie failure
Horizontal cracks in mortar joints at regular vertical intervals, bulging brickwork, or lifting of the roof verge. Older galvanised ties, especially in walls built before the 1980s, are the usual suspects.
