Thermal imaging survey for Golborne properties
If your property is in Golborne or the WA12 district or nearby Newton-le-Willows, St Helens and Prescot, it is within our Merseyside coverage. It is roughly 16 miles east of Liverpool.
The written result for your Golborne property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next. Where a Golborne wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Merseyside has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Golborne, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
