Thermal imaging survey for Birkenhead properties
Birkenhead sits in Merseyside, roughly 2 miles south-west of Liverpool. We work across the CH41 district, including nearby Liverpool, Wallasey and Bebington.
The written result for your Birkenhead property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next. Where a Birkenhead wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Merseyside has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Birkenhead, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

What thermal images can and cannot show
They show patterns, not proof. A cooler stripe inside might be missing fill, a cold bridge at a lintel or simply a radiator switched off. That is why we pair the images with borescope checks before recommending any work.
What is included in Birkenhead

- Borescope checks of suspect areas
