Thermal imaging survey for Cleethorpes properties
Cleethorpes is among the towns we cover in Lincolnshire, alongside Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Lincoln. It is around 31 miles north-east of Lincoln.
Buyers and sellers in Cleethorpes often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls. Where a Cleethorpes wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Lincolnshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Cleethorpes, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
