Thermal imaging survey for Caernarfon properties
Caernarfon sits in Gwynedd, roughly 6 miles south-west of Bangor. We work across the LL55 district, including nearby Bangor, Porthmadog and Holyhead.
A survey in Caernarfon gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound. Every inspection point in Caernarfon is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Parts of Gwynedd face some of the heaviest wind-driven rain in the UK, especially exposed coastal and upland sites. Here the survey is stricter: some walls suit only certain certified systems, and some should not be filled at all.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Caernarfon, filling a cavity is notifiable work under the Building Regulations as they apply in Wales, usually self-certified through a competent person scheme.
