Thermal imaging survey for Whitehaven properties
Whitehaven sits in Cumbria, around 35 miles south-west of Carlisle. We work across the CA28 district, including nearby Workington, Penrith and Barrow in Furness.
The written result for your Whitehaven property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next. Where a Whitehaven wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Parts of Cumbria face some of the heaviest wind-driven rain in the UK, especially exposed coastal and upland sites. Here the survey is stricter: some walls suit only certain certified systems, and some should not be filled at all.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Whitehaven, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
