Thermal imaging survey for Wokingham properties
Our Berkshire coverage takes in Wokingham (RG40) and nearby Crowthorne, Bracknell and Lower Earley. It is roughly 7 miles south-east of Reading.
A survey in Wokingham gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound. Buyers and sellers in Wokingham often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Much of Berkshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Wokingham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

What thermal images can and cannot show
They show patterns, not proof. A cooler stripe inside might be missing fill, a cold bridge at a lintel or simply a radiator switched off. That is why we pair the images with borescope checks before recommending any work.
