Party wall cavity insulation for Stirling properties
Stirling sits in the Forth Valley, roughly 10 miles north-west of Falkirk. We work across the FK7 district, including nearby Alloa, Falkirk and Grangemouth.
If a wall in Stirling is not suitable, for example because of an undiagnosed damp patch or a very exposed gable, you are told so in writing with the reason. A suitable wall in Stirling is usually filled in a single day from outside, with drill holes made good to match the pointing.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. The Forth Valley has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
In terms of approvals, in Stirling no building warrant is needed for insulation within a wall, but the work must meet the building standards.

Why a party wall loses heat
Many semi-detached and terraced homes built with cavity separating walls have that cavity open to the loft. Air moves up the cavity and out at the top, a loss sometimes called the party wall bypass. Filling the cavity and sealing the top stops it.
