Loft insulation for Wakefield properties
We cover Wakefield and the WF1 postcode district, including nearby Lofthouse, Ossett and Dewsbury. It is about 8 miles south of Leeds.
Where a Wakefield home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Wakefield homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Wakefield, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Existing depth and condition, ventilation at the eaves, water tanks and pipes that need insulating, downlighters that need covers, and storage boarding that needs raising so insulation is not crushed.
