Loft insulation for Houghton-Le-Spring properties
We cover Houghton-Le-Spring and the DH4 postcode district, including nearby Washington, Sunderland and Hebburn. It is roughly 11 miles south-east of Newcastle upon Tyne.
In Houghton-Le-Spring homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip. Where a Houghton-Le-Spring home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Houghton-Le-Spring, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
