Loft insulation for Thamesmead properties
Thamesmead is among the towns we cover in Greater London, alongside Barking, Welling and Becontree. It is roughly 11 miles east of London.
We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Thamesmead homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry. Where a Thamesmead home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Thamesmead, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

What we check
Existing depth and condition, ventilation at the eaves, water tanks and pipes that need insulating, downlighters that need covers, and storage boarding that needs raising so insulation is not crushed.
