Existing insulation and guarantee check for Yateley properties
Yateley sits in Hampshire, about 39 miles north-east of Southampton. We work across the GU46 district, including nearby Fleet, Farnborough and Aldershot.
The written result for your Yateley property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next. A survey in Yateley gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Hampshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Yateley, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Tracing a guarantee
Many cavity fills carry a 25-year guarantee from the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA). CIGA can confirm whether a property is covered and can issue a duplicate guarantee for a fee; at the time of writing that fee is £60 including VAT, and proof of ownership is required.
