Existing insulation and guarantee check for Chesham properties
Our Buckinghamshire coverage takes in Chesham (HP5) and nearby Amersham, Chalfont Saint Peter and High Wycombe. It is roughly 24 miles south of Milton Keynes.
Where a Chesham wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random. Every inspection point in Chesham is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Buckinghamshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Chesham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

Tracing a guarantee
Many cavity fills carry a 25-year guarantee from the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA). CIGA can confirm whether a property is covered and can issue a duplicate guarantee for a fee; at the time of writing that fee is £60 including VAT, and proof of ownership is required.
