Draught-proofing for Taunton properties
If your property is in Taunton or the TA1 district or nearby Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Yeovil, it is within our Somerset coverage. Taunton is one of the main towns we cover in Somerset.
In Taunton homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip. Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Taunton homes of every age.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Taunton, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
